Texan Breaks State Record By Reeling In 1,033-Pound Hammerhead Shark
So the saying is true “Everything is bigger in Texas!"
Just last week we highlighted a gentleman named Sergio Roque who pulled in a 964-pound Tiger Shark at the Texas City/ La Marque Jaycees’ Tackle Fishing Tournament in Texas City. The catch was the only shark caught in the tournament and one of the heaviest catches in recent years. That was until another Texan reeled in another mammoth of a catch to conclude the tournament.
