Since spring is here so are the activities! It's time to get outside, do something, and be a bit more active. There are plenty of opportunities to do that this weekend in Tyler, Texas, and Palestine, Longview, Canton, Gilmer and so many other towns across East Texas. The weather is even going to cooperate Saturday - after a chance of thunderstorms Friday, Saturday is going to be fabulous - with nothing but sunshine and a comfortable high of 75. For the events that continue on through Sunday, much the same with a few more clouds and a high of 77.

Taking a look around the region, here are the events that you can participate in, have some fun, discover some new things, support local artisans, crafters, and businesses and learn some new things along the way too.

For more details on any specific activity, simply tap (or click) on any highlighted event title.
