Oh thank heaven for 7-Eleven. Yesterday I had the opportunity to spend the day with some of my favorite people in Tyler, Texas at 7-Eleven. Me, The King of Some Media, Melz on the M.I.C. and Gunny had the privilege of passing out hot dogs, taquitos and Big Bites.

I was greeted by so many faithful listeners like Savoy Fambles, Shirley Denise, the Boy Scouts and many others. We also brought out our photo booth to take pictures that have been shared all over social media. The only thing that was hard about the day was the heat and humidity. The heat was one thing, but the humidity almost took me out. Oh thank heaven for 7-Eleven and their Slurpees. That's what cooled me off. I tried the strawberry-lemonade flavor.

If you didn't know, 7-Eleven now has this mega Slurpee machine that mixes flavors for you. It looks like a big daiquiri machine with no alcohol. They have about six flavors that you can add to the main flavor of lemonade. Make sure you take some time to stop by and enjoy one.

No need to worry if you missed all of the fun yesterday, tomorrow you can join The King of Some Media, Melz on the M.I.C. at 7-Eleven on Troup and the Loop from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Go by and grad a Big Bite, Big Gulp, taquitos, tenders and of course Slurpees. Plus Melz on the M.I.C will have tickets to Splash Kingdom, the Gregg County Fair and possibly Michael Shawn's Laugh Out Loud All White Comedy Show featuring Rodney Perry at the Majesty Event Center in Tyler.
