Hamilton is one of our most soulful crooners in the R&B game and rarely does he find himself in trouble with the law until now. We don't think this is a habitual thing, just an rare incident that we hope he won't repeat anytime soon.

Hamilton has been relatively quite on the music front. He is currently featured on the 'DJango Unchained' soundtrack on a song called 'Freedom' with singer Elayna Boynton.

The news of Hamilton's shocking arrest has launched an onslaught of comical reactions on Twitter.

"This Charlene fault," wrote one fan, giving a nod to Hamilton's 2004 hit single, 'Charlene.' Another commentator tweeted, "Bet you Anthony Hamilton had that holding cell sounding like Harpo's Juke Joint tho."

Jokes aside, we hope that Anthony Hamilton has learned his lesson and not get behind the wheel intoxicated.
