Beyoncé released the sweeping music video for her new single, "Spirit," on Tuesday (July 16).

Interspersed with footage from the new Lion King film, the breathtaking visual sees Beyoncé dancing and performing in a series of natural African landscapes and settings. At one point, her and Jay-Z's daughter, Blue Ivy, joins her mother among a troupe of dancers.

Inspired by her role as Nala in Disney's The Lion King remake, Beyoncé's "Spirit" is featured on both the official soundtrack for the film as well as The Lion King: The Gift, a new album produced and curated by Beyoncé.

The track was written by IIya Salmanzadeh, Timothy McKenzie and Beyoncé, and was produced by Beyoncé, Salmanzadeh and Labrinth.

The Lion King: The Gift will be released July 19. The Lion King film hits theaters this Friday.
