The Pandemic May Have Forever Changed How We Watch Movies As Some Folks Get Creative.

I'll admit that I'm still squeamish about going back to a movie theater even though I've been back....maybe twice since 2020. Streaming of course has taken over but I'm down to catch a new way to see a movie and I stumbled across a "club" of theaters that look pretty cool.

The Rooftop Cinema Club Feature Big Movies With Big Views

While some movie theaters are raising prices on seats, some folks have gotten inventive like The Rooftop Cinema Club who according to their website will "bring you city skylines, sunsets, starlit evenings, awesome drinks, delicious food, and great movies on the big screen."

Rooftops promise a handpicked curation of cults, classics, and new releases.

The 'clubs' feature deck chairs, personal headphones, a food menu and a full bar featuring refreshing cocktails, beer and wine. You can also bring your own blanket just in case it cool and screenings that start after 4:30pm are 18+. Prices range from $17.50 - $27.50, depending on seat type, ticket inclusions and time of day.

There's 7 locations across the country while Texas has two locations in Houston and Fort Worth. The Houston location is just added a second screen while the Fort Worth location says that it will return in the Spring. Either way, this looks like a sweet date night location and a cool and different way to catch a movie so let me know if you go before I make it!
