Celebrate Labor Day Weekend In All White with Laughter in Tyler

I know that you all have heard you can not wear white after Labor Day. Well the Majesty, Michael Shawn and Rodney Perry want you to pull out your whites on Saturday, September 4 for one last time this year.

The Majesty will be all white on Saturday, September 4 for the Michael Shawn LOL All White Comedy Show featuring national comedian from Coming to America, Rodney Perry. This will be two hours of non-stop laughter followed by a meet and greet with all comedians on the show and dancing and mingling at the after party. All of these events will take place at the Majesty located at 900 West Bow Street in Tyler. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the show starts at 8:00 pm.

If you are scratching your head trying to figure out where have you heard the name Michael Shawn, well he is a radio personality and national comedian, You probably remember him from another nationally syndicated morning show. He was popular for his Wednesday feature "We The Worst Records".

Rodney Perry on the other hand, you have seen on DEF Comedy Jam, BET's Comic View, Monique's Up All Night and recently in Eddie Murphy's Coming To America 2. Rodney is also popular for ending his comedy set by pop locking with the audience.

I have asked myself why do we have to stop wearing white after Labor Day? After doing some research, I learned that it is just something so Americans came up with because they were bored. It was not quite worded like that, but when you read between the lines, that's what happened. Look for me to be in white all year long. I promise you September 4th won't be the last time you see Shani in white.
