Chad Johnson Released By Dolphins [VIDEO]

Shortly after his arrest was made public and he was released from jail, wide receiver Chad 'Ochocinco' Johnson was released by the Miami Dolphins. This comes as a surprise for many Dolphin fans, but not completely a shock for others.

Johnson was charged with a misdemeanor simple battery domestic charge for allegedly head-butting his new wife of 39 days, reality star Evelyn Lozada.

Many aren't sure why the team made the decision so soon, but one thing's for sure, the team's coach, Joe Philbin, ain't playing!

Chad recently changed his Twitter avatar from his wearing a Dolphins uniform to him sitting in a car with street clothes on.
