Chicago Woman Arrested For Stealing Taraji P. Henson’s Identity

A Chicago woman is under arrest after being accused of stealing the identity of Hollywood Actress Taraji P. Henson.

According to WGN TV, Alicia Newby from Galewood was arrested in her apartment on Saturday (July 27th) and was charged with continuing a federal crime enterprise.

Authorities didn't indicate how many individuals identities were stolen, but confirmed Taraji P. Henson was one of them.

Police got a tip from Henson's manager after $4,000 worth of charges was being delivered to two homes that wasn't connected to Taraji.

Newby gathered and used different identities and nearly picked up $12,000 in fraud charges.

She has been charged and has to wear a electronic monitoring device after being released on $10,000 signature bail.

Her next court date is pending in August.
