The relationship between and beautician and barber is very sacred to me.

I would go and see my barber religiously every two weeks and we would talk and shoot the breeze while getting cleaned up and the same goes for ladies with their beautician.

On weekends beauty and barber shops would be crowded with loyal customers, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic it has caused them to shut down for temporarily leaving us wondering what to do in order to stay groomed.

However, some barbers and beauticians are ignoring the 'stay-at-home' order and continuing to operate and could cost them if caught violating the rule.

KLTV is reporting that the Department of Licensing and Regulations have 493 complaints about cosmetologists, barbers, and massage therapists who were working outside of the 'stay-at-home' order.

You know what that means right?  IT'S ILLEGAL TO BE OPEN and violators can pay fines up to $1,000 per violation.

With over 315,088 cosmetologists and 32,872 barbers who are licensed in Texas per KLTV it's not worth your life, your customers life, and even your business that you worked so hard for to be put in jeopardy.

As much as I would love to see my barber my health and well being is far more important than a haircut and for his as well.

So, to all my beauticians and barbers out there I am asking you to please consider your families and customers and refrain from operating until this pandemic is over.
