Deal Reached to Re-Open Government, But It’s Short-Term

Today (January 25) 33 days after the federal government has been suffering a partial shutdown, President Trump claims he's reached a temporary deal to re-open it, according to CNN. The deal does not include any funds for Trump's border wall, but it will get folks back to work, at least temporarily, as Trump and Congress negotiate a budget.
Trump said that workers will receive their backpay soon, which is a relief, since the situation has become a crisis! Let's just hope that three weeks is long enough for them to come to an agreement, so the government doesn't get shutdown again!
