Deborah Cox Checks In To Talk About Her New Movie And Music With Shawn Knight

R&B Diva Deborah Cox stars in a new movie on BET Plus Carl Weber’s Influence and she recently checked into the Shawn Knight Show give us all the details.

Cox plays Savannah Kirby who is tied up into a murder investigation of her husband Kyle played by R&B crooner Anthony Hamilton and seeks the legal counsel of Hudson & Hudson to search for the truth.

“Influence” is written by 24 time New York Times best-selling author Carl Weber and this classic case of ‘who done it’ will leave you guessing to see if Savannah actually killed her husband or maybe someone else.

Outside of the movie Influence Cox is back with a new single “Easy Way” written by Rico Love and it speaks to couples who don’t know where to go when it comes to love.

Cox spoke more about the single,

I think the song really speaks to what happening now with people sort of being in a place where they don’t know where to go when it comes to love. They’re still trying to figure it out and it’s not a song about falling in love, it’s not about heartbreak, or falling out of love it’s about that awkward place where you're right dead in the middle of it and you don’t know if you should leave or stay.
