East Texas Non-Profit The Princess Closet Collecting Prom Dresses
With prom season rapidly approaching and prices for everything skyrocketing, affording this special night could be stressful for some teens, even parents. Thankfully, there's a local non-profit that hopes to be a blessing to young ladies who may need help finding the perfect dress this year.
The Princess Closet Is Hosting Its 7th Annual Prom Dress Drive
The Princess Closet, a nonprofit organization that helps provide a unique shopping experience for high school girls headed to prom, is in need of donors and volunteers for its 7th annual Prom Dress Drive. They're asking the community to donate modern prom dresses of any and all sizes to one of their drop off locations which include:
- SHINE - 112S N. Broadway Tyler
- Lillie Russell Library Lindale
- Moss Flower Shop 237 S. Broadway Tyler
- Bethel Hope Bible Church 504 W. 32nd St. Tyler
- The Brook Hill School - Bullard
After the Dresses Are Collected The Princess Closet Will Tour High Schools Across The Area
After spring break, they will visit high schools in East Texas that have reached out to them with a need. They will set up shop in the parking lot, and a group of girls will be able to experience an exclusive boutique shopping experience without any cost to them. So if your daughter has last year's dress that she won't be wearing in the closet, its time to donate it to this awesome cause.
