Prom Season Will Be Here Soon, an East Texas Organization Hopes To Help Young Ladies With Finding The Prom Dress Of Their Dreams In Case They Can't Afford One.

High School juniors and seniors will soon participate in what many consider the most important night of their young social lives "The Prom". For some young people and their families, they may not be looking forward to the event due to a financial struggle because purchasing dresses and accessories can get pretty pricey. Thankfully, an ETX organization is helping young ladies that need help be beautiful for their special night.

The "I Am Beautiful" Movement Is Hosting A Prom Dress Giveaway.

The 6th Annual Glam Prom Dress Closet Giveaway will take place on Sunday Feb. 26 at 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the Tyler Area Chamber Of Commerce's Genecov Room located at 315 N. Broadway in Tyler. During the event, young ladies will have an opportunity to select a dress they want to wear for prom at no cost. But first, they need donations to make it happen!

They Are Accepting Donation At Several East Texas Businesses.

If you have a young person that may have RECENTLY graduated high school and you still have their prom dress and accessories, donate them to this drive. They are looking for new or gently used prom dresses sizes 0-30, jewelry, new make-up, handbags, hair accessories and formal shoes.
