Ed Gordon will host a star-packed special featuring interviews with the biggest African-Americans in movies, television and comedy today that will world premiere on Mon. July 17 at 9:00 p.m. (CT) on Bounce.

Ed checks into the Shawn Knight Show to talk about his celebrity special where he interviews the stars of the upcoming summer comedy Girls Trip, Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith, Regina Hall and Tiffany Haddish, who discuss their careers and reflect on the contributions of black women in Hollywood today

Gordon talks to Super Bowl champion/broadcaster Michael Strahan on the set of GMA about his very busy television life from his departure with Live with Kelly and Michael and other projects.

Also, Ed Gordon talks to Cedric the Entertainer and D.L. Hughley about the state of comedy in the age of President Trump and the recent loss of fellow Comedian Charlie Murphy.

Last but not least Omari Hardwick who plays "Ghost" on the hit TV show Power will talk about the success of the show, his relationship with his wife and how he handles fame in the social media era.

Gordon has been a contributing correspondent for 60 Minutes IIThe Today Show and Dateline NBC, the host of “News and Notes with Ed Gordon" on NPR, anchorman for BET and is a weekly contributor to the national Steve Harvey Radio Show.
