Erykah Badu & More Performing At ACL Fest 2021 In Austin

We're blessed to make it to the other side of this pandemic and getting ready for concerts and festivals to be in full effect!

We recently asked you to let us know what concert you would like to see here in East Texas this summer and I recommended that we should get Erykah Badu to come and perform and today my request was accepted..... but I gotta go to Central Texas to see her, you coming?

The Austin City Limits Music Festival is back this year at Austin's Zilker Park with an amazing lineup of diverse music spread out over 8 stages, more than 125 performances, over 2 weekends beginning October 1 through October 3 then October 8 through October 10.

This is the 20th Anniversary of the Festival and just about every genre of music will be covered including R&B and hip-hop with Texas' homegrown superstar Erykah Badu featured as one of the headliners.

Also, Texas hip hop superstar Meg Thee Stallion will also be performing along with other rap stars DaBaby, Doja Cat, Machine Gun Kelly, Jack Harlow and more.

I attended the last ACL Fest pre-COVID in 2019 and it was an amazing time! I got to see great performances from big stars like another Texas Grammy winner Gary Clark Jr. If you've never been, you gotta check it out!

Tickets went on sale today at their website and who knows, you might see me out there checking out Ms. Badu and all the other big stars!
