‘Get Your Nails Done, Get Your Hair Did’ in East TX for Easter

It's Easter Weekend and like that fabulous Missy Elliot song says, you need to "get your nails done and get your hair did."

If you are new to East Texas and wondering what are some of the best places in town you can go to get that look that is "slayed to the gawds", as the kids say, then I have got a few recommendations for you!

If you want to be all cute and get some braids for Easter Sunday try Ebenezer Beauty Salon, located at 2522 Shiloh Rd in Tyler. Better make an appointment quickly, they are only open this weekend from 9 am to 9 pm and then 10 pm to 11 pm) on Friday and Saturday.

There's Braids by Vita located in Longview. They have a cool photo gallery on their website that you can look through to help you pick out the right style for you. This salon is open from 10 am to 6 pm Friday and Saturday.

If you don't want braids and just want a regular 'do, try Sonya's Beauty Break (1716 Forest Avenue) or Shear Decadence (5201 S. Broadway #140) and ask for Alyssa or Koko. The salon's hours are Friday from 9 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm.
