Hank is an extremely lovable guy that is desperately seeking a family of his own. He's been living at Pets Fur People in Tyler for more than 575 days now and he just wants his own place to call his own in East Texas.

Hank is a Boxer/Cur mix that is sweet and laid-back according to Pet Fur People's Gayle Helms. He's five and a half years old and weighs 80 pounds, so he's a bigger dog. He's got this intimidating look about him, but inside he's gentle. The one thing about Hank is his tail, it's constantly wagging because he's full of love. Even though he's a big guy he still loves to take brisk walks and will not turn down the opportunity to hop in the car for a quick trip to the lake.

Hank has been neutered, is current on starting vaccinations, including rabies, and has been microchipped for identification purposes. Hank would thrive in almost any home setting. Hank will go home with a starter kit of food, a collar and leash and a certificate for half-price basic obedience training from Tyler Obedience Training Club.

For additional information on adopting Hank call 903.597.2471 or check the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People website. Due to concerns over COVID-19, pet adoptions are currently being handled by appointments only. Check out the animals that are available for adoption. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. - closed for lunch 1 - 2 p.m. The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is the oldest brick and mortar no-kill shelter in East Texas. Pets Fur People offers dog boarding and routine vaccinations, except for rabies, to the public for dogs and cats. Follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Please be a responsible pet owner - spay or neuter your pets. Donations are appreciated.

Vanity (or personalized) license plates on vehicles can be fun and whimsical. Some owners get very creative when it comes to the right combination of letters and numbers to get their message across in those precious seven characters or less.
