Kroger And Albertsons Selling Stores To C&S
To offload the excess, the pair of grocery store giants are going to sell the stores to C&S Wholesale Grocers. You might recognize them better by one of their more popular store brands: Piggly Wiggly.
The big change in Texas will likely be in the number of Albertsons stores here. Texas is Albertson's second biggest market, boasting 44 locations.

They recently announced that there would be 28 Albertsons stores sold to C&S during the sale. With so many stores, Texas locations could be in the crosshairs, but nothing has been made official just yet.
