Applications Are Being Accepted For The 2025 Kidd’s Kids Trip

(Mix 93-1)  Since 1991, The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show has been doing something extremely special for children with special needs along with their families.

Thanks to the generosity of the listeners of the show, known as KiddNation, the Kidd's Kids Foundation is able to organize a trip to Walt Disney World in Florida for a group of very deserving kids.

While on this trip of a lifetime, neither the kids nor any of their immediate family members have to pay for anything because the trip is 100% paid for by the members of KiddNation through special fundraising days throughout the year.

These kids and families get to enjoy all of the Disney parks in Florida.  All of their meals and transportation are covered.  All meals and souvenirs are provided for by the generosity of KiddNation.

The ONLY thing the kids and families do is have fun, create memories, and go back home filled with joy from such a bonding event.

What started as a small trip to San Antonio's SeaWorld in 1991 has grown to include families from across the nation and from here in East Texas.

Throughout the years several families from all across East Texas have been selected to go on the trip and they all come back with some amazing memories and stories while in the most magical place on Earth.

Applications for the 2025 Kidd's Kids Trip Are Being Accepted

Before the trip can take place, they need to select a very special group of kids to go on the trip this year. Applications for this year's trip are now being accepted. The five-day trip is planned for Thursday, November 20th through Monday, November 24th.

Criteria list to nominate a child for the trip:

• The child must be between the ages of 5 and 12 years old at the time of the trip.
• The child’s illness or disability must be one of the following: diagnosed with a chronic/terminal illness OR be physically challenged OR have an impairment due to a birth defect or accident/injury.
• The child and family must live in the United States and regularly listen to the Kidd Kraddick Morning Show (KKMS) on the radio, kPod, KiddTV, Twitch, and/or other internet streaming and podcasting application and/or platforms, as the case may be. A list of KKMS radio stations can be found HERE.

Where do you complete the application?

Applications are available on the Kidd's Kids website and can be completed online by the family. If you know a family that would qualify, please send them a link, as you aren’t able to surprise nominate a family due to the nature of information needed.

Application deadline

The application deadline is Friday, June 13th.
