(East Texas) The winter storm of 2026 just keeps on giving ... to students and faculty of some East Texas schools! Over the past few days, many school districts across East Texas have had to cancel classes due to icy conditions. Not only because of icy roads, but ALSO for icy conditions around the school too.

Now today's temperature was well above freezing, melting much of the storm remnants, so it's going to be class as usual for the majority of the East Texas student body.

There are some school districts, though, that have announced plans to delay the start of classes for Thursday or are cancelling them altogether. This list will be updated as information becomes available.
