In all, there are more than two dozen vehicles that are being sold. Of course, all auction items are sold as is and come with no warranty, implied or expressed. What you see is what you get with no other assistance.

Smith County is placing these assets and others up for auction because they have outlived their usefulness or were replaced. Instead of just discarding the asset, the county is auctioning off these items and others to raise some capital to go towards future equipment and vehicle purchases and saving taxpayer dollars.

Do a quick search for 'county surplus actions' on Google and you'll see that cities throughout Texas, even state departments, are putting items up for auction. Some of these auctions have some cool items that you could bid on if you needed some unique items.
