Tour 32 New Homes in Tyler June 7

(Tyler, Texas) Just this afternoon, I saw a banner on a news program on TV stating that the Texas real estate market is balancing out and tilting more towards a buyer's market. Meaning there are more houses on the market now, and buyers can shop around and find the home they truly fall in love with.

This weekend marks one of my wife's and my favorite weekends because we can get a look at what styles, colors, and finishes are trending in new homes, thanks to the Tyler Area Builders Association's 'Tyler Parade of Homes'.

What Is The Tyler Parade Of Homes?

It's always exciting to take a tour and look at the new homes that have come to life thanks to some very creative Tyler area builders. Their work will be showcased in the Parade of Homes from June 7th through 15th.

What You'll See On The Tour

Visitors are able to take self-guided tours of each of the 32 homes and ask questions of the builders about design choices, decorating, landscaping, painting, tile work ideas, and so much more.

The parade of homes is aimed at selling new homes created by area builders. However, it also gives those of us homeowners who are contemplating remodeling our own homes many useful ideas to incorporate into our homes. Ideas like new technology, faucets, or tile.

Many of the 32 homes on the tour are custom-built homes and have been sold, but there are a handful that will have a for sale sign in the front, and you could make an offer on it right then if it truly is the home of your dreams.

Tickets, Dates, and Beneficiaries

During the tour, you may go to as many homes as you like, but you'll need to purchase a ticket first. A portion of the ticket price will be donated to the East Texas Heart Gallery, North Tyler Academy, and Kingdom Life Academy.

Homes on the parade will be open to visitors Saturday from 10-6, Sunday from 2-6, and then special weekday hours.
