Another 'Hotober' weekend is on the way in East Texas.

Not only is it going to be way above average when it comes to the temperatures, you're going to have a difficult time deciding what to do because there are so many activities and festivals to experience this weekend.

We'll be sweating it out at the many fairs and festivals in Lufkin, Marshall, Lindale, Mt. Vernon, Edom, and Grapeland as we celebrate the piney woods, fire ants, country life, art, and peanuts.

In addition to the big festivals, there are events featuring shopping opportunities, a vintage aircraft and airshow, a wine festival, and an Oktoberfest in Kilgore.

After you have some fun at these events and festivals this Friday and Saturday you can turn your attention to decorating for the fall on Sunday and start thinking about what you want the jack-o-lantern to look like for Halloween. Once you have that idea you'll know what size of pumpkin to pick out at a local pumpkin patch.

Here's a look at the events taking place across East Texas this weekend.

So, if you can, get your rest next week and get ready for more weekend fun.
