Assault with a deadly weapon, it's a charge we hear about often not only in Amarillo, but all across the country. When we hear the words deadly weapon, we immediately think a gun, knife, something along those lines. Outside of that, how many deadly weapons are there?

Well, only in Amarillo would we manage to find a NEW one, and it's not something that would've ever crossed my mind, I can tell you that much.

The Potter County Sheriff's Office is currently looking for a woman who is wanted on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon...and the weapon in question is a 2x4. Yes, a piece of wood typically used for building things has now become a deadly weapon in Amarillo.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm sure it's always been considered a deadly weapon, but when was the last time you actually heard of it being USED as one?

26 year old Magdalena Manuela Holguin is the suspect, and she apparently took this 2x4 and whacked her boyfriend across the head with it knocking him unconscious. My first thought was, I wonder if she was a softball player growing up. I know, leave it to me to bring in baseball to something like this.

I also wonder just how big the 2x4 was and how hard she would've had to hit him with it to knock him out. That's a mighty blow.

There is a reward being offered if you help lead to her arrest. Holguin is described as 5'1", weighing around 115 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
