A decommissioned warship docked forever in Corpus Christi. There are many ghosts that roam the halls of this ship but the most famous by far is Charlie. A good natured crewman who many people have reported having full conversations with. Many people walk by him thinking he is an actor or staff member, but when they turn to see him again, he's gone. When you're not chatting up Charlie, you'll probably be hearing the ghostly echo of bombs from the past, or seeing some other unlucky soldier who lost his life aboard the USS Lexington.

Texas Hill Country is full of its fair share of terrifying legends, creepy cryptids, and ghost stories. Driving through the Devils Backbone means potentially encountering ghost hitchhikers who disappear after you've picked them up or hearing ghostly radio broadcasts from the past playing eerily through your car. You can even expect spirit animals to attack you, ghostly apparitions to leap on the hood of your car, and to see wandering bands of roaming confederate soldiers lost in the afterlife.

The Alamo is one of the most haunted places on this list. The ghost stories surrounding the Alamo actually start back in the days before its capture. The monks who originally created the building have been seen walking the area. People have seen ghostly figures with horrifying wounds standing in place and even the site of a soldier running on the roof trying to find a way off.
