Juvenile has released a remix of his popular hit Back that Thang Up with a emphasis on getting vaccinated against COVID-19.

BLK Dating partnered with rappers Juvenile and Mannie Fresh, plus "the mother of southern gangster rap" Mia X, to create a vaccine anthem, Vax That Thang Up. This track marks the first time in music history that artists from Cash Money Records and No Limit Records have collaborated in any official capacity.

I don't know about you all, but I find this remix to be hilarious and fun. Everyone knows, once you hear the DJ drop a song from the 99's and 2000's, that the dance floor is about to be packed. Plus watching Juvenile making it rain with vaccination cards is something I never thought I would see.

The new twist on this popular classic is just what we needed, and might just convince a few more people to get vaccinated. I hope vaccination clinics hear about this song, because it definitely needs to be added to their waiting music playlist.

Black adults under the age of 40 are the most likely group to avoid the Covid-19 vaccination, according to the U.S. Census Bureau and CDC. Nonintent was highest among Black persons in September (56.1%) and December (46.5%) compared with other racial/ethnic groups, with the difference between months (−9.6) not statistically significant.  Distrust of doctors and government, less access to vaccination centers, and online misinformation each play a role.

Since many of these groups are at increased risk for COVID-19–associated morbidity and mortality, COVID-19 vaccination is important for protecting the health of these populations and reducing health inequities.

It will be necessary for as many Americans as possible to be vaccinated in order to finally return to some level of pre-pandemic normalcy, and hopefully these 30 answers provided here will help readers get vaccinated as soon they are able.
