Kevin Clash, the Voice of Elmo, Shows Off His Husky Pipes on ‘The View’ [VIDEO]

We always knew there was a person behind loveable ‘Sesame Street’ character Elmo. But who knew he’d have such a surprisingly deep speaking voice?

Puppeteer Kevin Clash stopped by ‘The View’ to promote his new documentary ‘Being Elmo: A Puppeteer’s Journey.’ While there, he surprised the hosts with a voice that sounded more like Barry White than a Muppet. But, when he slipped an Elmo puppet on and greeted each of the ladies, it was pure furry monster magic. Watch the fun below.
