Drake is currently making noise with his No. 1 single, “Nice for What,” which samples Lauryn Hill’s classic song, “Ex-Factor.” Recently, L-Boogie gave a hat-tip to Drizzy by performing her version of “Nice for What” for concertgoers.

During her concert performance at the Apollo Theater in New York on Tuesday (May 1), Hill stop in the middle of her original song “Ex-Factor” and delivered a freestyle over “Nice for What.

"See this is ‘Ex-Factor’ / He took the sample / My shit is classic / Here’s an example / Of how we / Slice it up on this rhythm," she sang before dropping some ferocious bars of her own.

Hill's Apollo performance was a preview of her her upcoming tour this summer in honor of the 20th anniversary of her 1998 debut album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. The trek kicks off July 5 in Virginia Beach, Va., and includes stops in Miami, Toronto, Portland, New Orleans, Atlanta, and more before wrapping in October.

You can peep Hill's full itinerary here.
