Be aware! Longview Police have issued a warning about a letter aimed at scamming residents!

The letter says it is coming from Mr. Luiz Khumalo, a South African diplomat, who wants to invest in the United States. It's almost like those Nigerian schemes, where the person asks you to put some money in your account for "safekeeping and investment" purposes, according to CBS19. The letter says that Khumalo will give you 20% of the funds. Longview Police warn residents not to be fooled by this scam and to avoid contacting the sender!
