A father in Fort Worth helped to stop a mass shooting, by turning in his son, according to EastTexasMatters.com. The man said his son wanted to buy guns so he could go on a rampage. The man took around $700 out of the bank to buy the guns, but couldn't because failed background checks. Police say the man is at a local clinic getting treatment.
“He wanted to kill many people. He wanted to do something that was very similar that took place in the Midland-Odessa area and he basically wanted to mimic that,” said Buddy Calzada, Fort Worth Police Department.
