Maxwell is the coolest singer in the R&B game and he's a music lover at heart.

Recently, the crooner was spotted at the premiere of Michael B. Jordan’s new sci-fi film Fahrenheit 451, which is a futuristic retelling of the Ray Bradbury novel about a world in which books are banned and burned.

At the premiere, Maxwell was asked a burning question: What he would hate to see burn? “All my records,” he told Page Six. “All of my Sade records. All of my vinyl. You can take it all - but don’t take my music.”

We don’t blame him. Sade’s albums are musical treasures that must be protected at all costs.

Michael B. Jordan’s book-burning movie Fahrenheit 451 will air on HBO on May 19 at 9PM ET.

Meanwhile, Maxwell, who will celebrate his 45th birthday on May 23, will headline the inaugural "Black Summer Night For Justice" concert this summer. The event will take place on Aug. 11 at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, N.Y. Fellow R&B artists Fantasia, Jazmine Sullivan and DVSN are set to perform at the concert as well.

“There has never been a better or more important time to stand up and speak for those whose voices can’t be heard," said Maxwell about the event. "I am inspired by the lives of Harry Belafonte, Paul Robeson and Nelson Mandela and aim to bring attention to issues such as women’s rights, the disproportionate incarceration of African American men in America, the deplorable situation in Puerto Rico and many others."

Proceeds from the concert will benefit the #MeToo movement and the Southern Poverty Law Center with more organizations to be announced later.
