Meet Rufus, a Yellow Lab, Looking for a Home

This is one handsome Labrador Retriever. His name is Rufus. Rufus is available for adoption at the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People in Tyler.

Labs are America’s favorite dog because of their sweet, gentle disposition. They make wonderful family members. Rufus is about one year old and weighs 65 pounds. He has been neutered, is current on starting vaccinations including rabies and has been microchipped for identification purposes.

Adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 am until 5 pm - closed for lunch 1-2 pm. The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is the only brick and mortar no kill shelter in East Texas.
