Model Naomi Campbell Injured After Violent Mugging

British supermodel Naomi Campell was brutally robbed and mugged in Paris, leaving her injured.The attack happened just over a month ago, but details are just now being revealed.

Campbell was hailing a cab on a street in Paris when she was attacked and beaten by multiple men. Naomi was knocked down and assaulted, and ended up tearing a ligament in her leg as well as having noticeable bruises on her body. The attack left her in a wheel chair and crutches.While it is not known what exactly the thugs had been after, it is thought to be the expensive jewelry Campbell was wearing.

“It was terrifying. Naomi believes the assailant had been watching her, casing her out, and waited for a moment to strike when she was alone," one source said. “Her leg was injured as she was violently pushed to the ground. She was understandably very upset and shaken up.”

Campbell's boyfriend, Vladimir Doronin, has stated that she is to have extra security at all times. When contacted by press about the incident, Naomi says "I am sorry, I do not talk to press, but I am fine."
