Petition With Over 40K Signatures Calling For Wendy Williams Job After Mocking Joaquin Phoenix’s Facial Scar

Television Personality Wendy Williams has found herself in hot water as a petition with over 40,000 signatures are calling for her job as she mocked actor Joaquin Phoenix cleft lip during her "Hot Topics" segment on Tuesday (January 7th).

According to NBC News, Williams offended her fans when she appeared to refer to Joaquin Phoenix's lip, but asserting she finds him "oddly attractive" in spite of what she was was his cleft palate.

One of the many individuals who called out Wendy was Canadian football player Adam Bighill from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers as his son was getting his lip repaired.

Williams has since apologized and her show has made a donation in Beau's honor to Operation Smile, and American Cleft Palate in which Adam thanked her for her generosity.

As for Joaquin Phoenix?  He has yet to comment on Wendy's remarks.
