You might remember him as commentator on TV One, the host of News One Now, CNN Contributor or when it comes to me he was the senior editor of the Chicago Defender one of the oldest Black owned news papers in the country.

Fast forward to 2020 Roland S. Martin is celebrating his second season of his digital news show #RolandMartinUnfiltered and stopped by to talk what's to come as we are on the road to the 2020 U.S. Presidential election.

Since it first aired back in 2019, Roland S. Martin has achieved great milestones of gaining more than 625,000 YouTube subscribers and recently announced his special election day coverage he talked about his success in the digital space as he has been in media since his high school days.

Another topic of discussion was his reaction to the long lines for early voting; the impact of voter suppression efforts towards the African-American community where he was moved to tears on his IG page as he looked at the long lines in his hometown of Houston where his father volunteered as a poll worker.

We also talked about politics and pop culture as he voiced his opinion on Ice Cube and 50 Cent as they weigh in on politics and the agenda for Black America.

Check out Roland Martin and #RolandMartinUnfiltered streaming weekdays at 5 p.m. CST on FB Live, YouTube, IGTV, and Periscope.
