This past Friday was POW/MIA Day. This is a day when the country remembers servicemen and women who were prisoners of war or missing in action. Tyler, Texas took part in honoring the lives of those service members with a program on the Square in Downtown Tyler.

The Tyler Tigers Blind Beep Baseball team are gearing up for their 12th Annual Breast Cancer and Blind Awareness Baseball Tournament.

Today was another amazing day at 7-Eleven in Tyler, Texas. The broadcast was live from 7-Eleven on Highway 31 just across from Tandem Homes and the turnout was great. Everything kicked off at 11:00 a.m. and the King of Some Media, Melz on the M.I.C. and the King of Sales, Gunny Moore were on site with me. When the three of us get together we really have a great time and this time, I turned in a puff ball right before everyone's eyes.

It is almost time for midterm elections and the District Attorney seat will be up for grabs in Gregg County. The seat is currently held by former police officer Tom Watson. On Friday, he announced that he would not seek re-election.

If you are one of the unvaccinated people in America I am sure you have heard of employers requiring that you get the vaccine or get tested every two weeks. Being concerned about your employment makes sense because if you don't plan to get vaccinated you still need money to live.

Oh thank heaven for 7-Eleven. Yesterday I had the opportunity to spend the day with some of my favorite people in Tyler, Texas at 7-Eleven. Me, The King of Some Media, Melz on the M.I.C. and Gunny had the privilege of passing out hot dogs, taquitos and Big Bites.

One of my favorite types of food is authentic Mexican food. I was never really big on tacos though until I was introduced to the gas station Fuel City in Dallas, Texas.

I don't know who came up with this milk crate challenge because this is the silliest thing I have ever witnessed. It's a very popular challenge and a lot of rumors have popped up since the start of it. One of the biggest rumors was that a Dallas woman died from her injures after falling off the milk crates. That would be a very sad situation but the truth of the matter is that it is not true.

East Texas has been greeting many people evacuating Louisiana as hurricane Ida approaches the Gulf Coast.While some said they were going to stay and ride out the storm others are seeking safe shelter for the next few days.
