Steve Harvey And Mo’Nique Argue Over Blackball Controversy
Fireworks were underway during a taping of the Steve Harvey television show as our morning man and comedienne Mo’Nique as they were discussing Mo being blackballed from the industry.
According to Fox News, Mo’Nique revealed things got out of control from her telling Tyler Perry, Oprah Winfrey, and Lee Daniels ‘No’ and even put Harvey on that list for how he treated her by saying she burned too many bridges and there’s nothing he could do for her.
Harvey fired back by stating she went about the situation all wrong and she put herself in that position by the way she went about dealing with the matter in regards also to the Netflix fiasco after she was offered a lower pay for a standup special compared to other comedians.
Mo’Nique responded the boycott was more about inequality,
Inequality is devastating and it’s extreme. And when people said, ‘Mo’Nique, do you think calling a boycott was extreme,’ you’re damn right. But isn’t inequality extreme? So we’ve got to get to a place where we’re unafraid to say it out loud.
Then Harvey followed up by telling the comedienne this is a money game, not a black man’s game, white man’s game. This is a money game.
However, Harvey’s comment didn’t go over so well as Twitter roasted him about choosing money over integrity.
