Steve Harvey To Interview Mary J. Blige for The Release of Her New Album “Strength of a Woman”

All hail the Queen!  Multiple Grammy Award winner Mary J. Blige will sit down with our morning man Steve Harvey on Friday April 28^th, at 7:41am (CST) to talk about the release of her 13^th studio album “Strength of a Woman”

In celebration of her new album Mary J. Blige has released a trailer for her new documentary titled, “The Making Of: Strength of a Woman”

According to Rap-Up this documentary takes us on a ride as Mary opens up about making this album, as well as, her divorce from her husband Kendu Isaacs.  Mary speaks on her divorce in the trailer where she says,

"Divorce is not something I wanted to do but I had no choice. I’m not writing an album preaching to anyone about what they should do. I’m literally trying to heal myself through writing, singing, through some kind of way, getting it out of my system.”

Narrating the documentary is non other than Diddy where he mentions:

"For almost 20 years, she has been writing and singing music that both cuts us and helps us heal at the same time.  Her realness, music, style, energy, and performance make her loved by millions."

The Making of: Strength of a Woman is set to premier on VH1 May 2nd at 11p.m.
