Sundays In North Tyler Are For Gospel Music & Grilling
As I continue to get to know the community I reside in, North Tyler, I'm always amazed at the genuine people I find and awesome things they do. One of the great things I found is that a lot of folks have turned things that they love to do as a leisure activity and turn it into a business of sorts that provides for their families.
I admire that entrepreneurial mindset because I also once took something that I love to do and turned it into a business. Its one of the many reasons I love living in the North because you see (and smell) this spirit everywhere, including inside the pits of Bryan Ross' big grill!
I met Mr. Ross a few weeks ago catering a fundraiser for a young lady who beat cancer and found out that I live just a couple of blocks away from him. I was invited over to his home where he blessed me with a delicious steak and hot links from his catering service "Smoke Sum'N BBQ".
Everyone on the North side told me that Bryan's grilling skills are top notch and they weren't lying. So its not any surprise to residents in his neighborhood to wake up on Sunday mornings to the smell of delicious pit smoke while Gospel Traxx With Walt "Baby" Love is blasting from his speakers. Praise the Lord and pass the brisket.
Let's take a moment and gaze upon these bountiful blessings:
