You don't have to travel far to see real dinosaur tracks and experience where they roamed in Texas at Dinosaur Valley State Park.

There aren't too many silver linings when it comes to droughts, but I think we can chalk this up as one.

While there are plenty of places to stay, this one stuck out to me as one that would provide a feeling of escape with great views. It’s called 'The Nest' for a reason.
