From her Instagram account she thanked everyone for their prayers and well wishes while she is still recovering.

First and foremost, Thank you.
Thank you to each and every individual who has prayed for me, thought of me, sent me their love and has showered me with their support. In this present moment, it is my only responsibility to be real with myself and to be real with the ones who truly love me and care for my healing.

Tamar went on to explain that she has felt betrayed, taken advantage of, overworked, and underpaid by We TV from the past eleven years and wrote a letter over two months ago asking to be released.

She went on to say mental illness is real and you have to normalize acknowledging it with feeling humiliated.

The dangers of depression is real as I have faced it myself on more than one occasion and the feeling of emptiness can get very intense that some just might not be strong to seek help or admit that they need help.

Seeing Tamar finding her smile and purpose gives me so much joy because you just never know what a person maybe going through and hopefully she can make a full recovery and tell her story to help someone who could be going through a similar situation.

If you or someone you know is having suicidal thoughts call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 800-273-8255.
