Texas Man Robs Bank After Not Receiving Stimulus Check
Times can get hard for people especially during COVID-19, but robbing banks isn't the answer!
The Houston Police Department along with the FBI Violent Crime Task Force and the Houston Police Robbery Division is looking to identify a person of interest after robbing a bank on Wednesday (July 8th).
The suspect entered the Woodforest National Bank at 9700 Hillcroft Avenue in Houston covering his face as he approached the teller and handed them a note.
I didn't get a stimulus or that 10k loan. I lost my business to Covid so please make this easy and comply. I don't wanna hurt nobody but will if I have to. Any suspicious moves and I will start shooting so please go get my money. Don't make anything noticeable!
No weapon was shown, but the teller feared for her life and gave an undisclosed amount of cash and he got away.
Any information on this incident is to call the Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
