Texas’ Own GOAT Gymnast Simone Biles Talks Tour & Retirement
Simone Biles is the greatest woman's gymnast EVER and I will not hear any debate on this topic. She's the most decorated gymnast in American history and quite possibly one of the greatest SPORTS figures ever.
The Texas based superstar just added more accolades to her already amazing resume by winning her record 7th individual U.S. Gymnastics Championship crushing all the competition last weekend in Fort Worth as she prepares for this year's Tokyo Olympics where she hopes to add more GOLD to her 4 Gold medals she won at the 2016 Olympics.
From foster care to global icon, Biles continues to be an inspiration for young women and girls around the world outside of sports and she's teaming up with some of her fellow gymnasts to hit the road for the "Gold Over America Tour" which is described as "a high-octane, fun-filled experience that will not only showcase athletic brilliance but also showcase each athlete's own inspiring championship journeys and bring the audience closer to the action than ever before" according to tour's website.
The 35 city tour will make 3 stops in Texas this fall in Austin, Fort Worth and Houston but Biles is also considering retiring from the sport she's dominated all these years in a recent interview on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show recently.
Check out her interview with Rock-T where she talks about the upcoming tour, what she would be doing now if she wasn't a gymnast and her possible retirement plans plus we learn one of her "guilty pleasures".
