This 4th of July weekend along with the fireworks and BBQ, there's going to be a concert with 2 Texas rap legends.

Known as one of the best MCs in hip hop and one half of the legendary Underground Kingz, Bun-B continues to carry the flame for the late great Pimp C as he comes to Tyler this Saturday night performing live at The Empire Lounge.

You can expect Bun to perform a lot of the classic hits from UGK and jams from his solo albums and projects not to mention all the features he's been on. But that's not all, another H-Town legend will be performing at the show as well. Known as one of the founding members of the legendary Screwed Up Click, Big Pokey will also be in the building.

Its been more than a decade since Big Pokey last touched the mic but he's back with a new critically acclaimed album called "Sensei" and he's going to be rocking the stage in a rare performance.

The show is called "A Night Of Our Independence" and the doors open at 9:00 PM with DJ Keno G and DJ Tee Bee in the mix at The Empire Lounge at 4414 Watson Road in Tyler. Check them out on Facebook for more details!
