On August 27th after a routine visit to the doctor I was advised to make better choices in my eating habits and to lose a few pounds.

I have then started the 10 Day Green Smoothie Cleanse by J.J. Smith and after being skeptic of the challenge I was very pleased at the results.

The challenge consisted of daily combinations of fruits and green leaves i.e. spinach, kale, and mixed greens with various fruits and I also got to snack of dry unsalted nuts and veggies to curb my hunger.

I must admit it was a challenge, but for the sake of living a healthier lifestyle was more than enough of a push to get me over the edge.

***The Results are in***

As you can see from the top number was my weight when I began the challenge August 27th and the bottom number is my current weight today.

I'm very proud of the results, but there is still work to do.  Nevertheless, co-workers noticed the change and I have too as I have to adjust my belt on my pants.

Will I do this challenge again?  Yes, actually early October and if you are thinking about living a healthier lifestyle I strongly suggest picking up this book and giving it a try.
