These 10 Albums Influenced My Musical Taste and Upbringing

Music is the soundtrack of our lives!

I can remember as a young child listening to Motown growing up with my parents and how certain songs would resonate with me as I started to develop my own taste in music.

Never did I think I would eventually go from listening to music, to DJ'ing music to even being a radio personality playing music on the regular.

I really started getting into music at an early age and I remember in 1994 at 14 years old the 1st three albums I purchased.

1. Guy - The Future
2. Keith Sweat - I'll Give All My Love To You
3. Johnny Gill - Johnny Gill

Even though those three records played an impact in my musical palate there are 10 albums that definitely stood out and gave me a deeper appreciation on their art and as a person.

So, for Black Music Month I am issuing a challenge for YOU to share your Top 10 albums that impacted your life and share them with me and who know we might have the same taste in music.
