When I found out there was a missing East Texas teenager named Willow, my attention was hooked. I have a 9-year-old daughter named Willow, so any other Willow in this world is instantly dear to my heart!

A young lady named Willow Sirmans was declared a runaway from her home in northeast Texas on Tuesday, May 12th. She was a freshman in high school in Van Zandt County at Grand Saline High. She left her home with man who was 21-years-old.

This story breaks my heart. I hope that Willow is doing okay by now. She was discovered by authorities in Louisville, Kentucky, which is about 4 states away from here.

It is unknown at this time if Willow deliberately ran away from home or if she was kidnapped, as news reports have alleged.

The important thing is that Willow Sirmans has been found, thanks to FBI agents, and she is hopefully going to receive any emotional help that she needs.

If you or someone you love needs someone to turn to for immediate assistance, please contact the YWCA who will help you locate a local advocate for you.
