Thunderstorms, Strong Winds Expected Across East Texas This Afternoon
A cold front is expected to move through East Texas this afternoon bringing with is a chance for thunderstorms and strong winds.
The winds should actually arrive after the storms have moved out of the area. As the thunderstorms move through, most of the severe weather should stay to the east of us along the Louisiana border, but the strong winds in excess of 40 mph should affect us all.
Small tree limbs being knocked down and sporadic power outages are the main threat from the gusty winds.
