Two Winners Confirmed For The Mega Millions Jackpot By Texas Lottery

Excitement is in the air in Houston as the Texas Lottery declared two winners in last night Mega Millions drawing where they matched 5 out of 5 numbers in the $450 million-dollar jackpot.

WFAA ABC 8 reports Friday night’s numbers for the Mega Millions were:  28, 30, 39, 59, and 70, with the Mega Ball at 10 was the fourth largest jackpot of its kind.  One ticket earned a one-million-dollar prize, matching 5 out of 5 numbers, while the second ticket earned a three-million-dollar prize, matching 5 out of 5 numbers plus a multiplier.

Texas Lottery officials said the $3 million-dollar ticket was sold in Humble, while the Baytown location sold the $1million-dollar ticket.  ABC News reports the winning $450 million-dollar Mega Millions ticket was sold in Florida.

The next drawing for the Mega Millions will be Tuesday January 9^th with a jackpot value of $40 million-dollars.
